Situated in one of the most beautiful areas of England, Plymouth is a thriving, maritime city combining a modern, bustling city centre with its’ historic port to create a fascinating mixture of old and new.

The Elizabethan Barbican, Mayflower steps and Plymouth Hoe are all world renowned heritage sites where you can soak up centuries of maritime history and walk in the footsteps of the Pilgrim Fathers, Drake and Raleigh. As you’d expect from such a famous sea-faring port there is a vast range of water activities to try such as water skiing, fishing, boat trips, scuba diving and wind surfing.

Plymouth’s pedestrianised city centre offers a wide range of shops and cafés along its’ wide boulevards or you can relax and soak up the atmosphere in one of the wide range of cafés and restaurants situated along the stunning water front.

Plymouth is the regional capital of Devon and Cornwall and is an ideal base for exploring both counties. You’ll never be short of things to do in Plymouth or the surrounding area. Close by are Dartmoor National Park and the beautiful South Hams countryside and coast.
